Cultural Resource Compliance for Fish &Wildlife Projects



BPA Cultural Resource Compliance for Fish and Wildlife projects is conducted by environmental compliance leads within the BPA Environmental Planning and Analysis group. Fish and Wildlife project proponents include Tribes, federal agencies, state agencies, non-profits, and other entities. Projects include building or maintenance of hatcheries or other facilities, habitat improvement projects such as riparian plantings, fence installation, installation of alternative water sources, irrigation ditch replacement, various methods to control sedimentation into waterways, and other projects. BPA Environmental Planning and Analysis group environmental compliance leads coordinate with cultural resources staff and Fish and Wildlife project proponents to accomplish cultural resource compliance.
