Springfield Sockeye Hatchery Project (DOE/EA-1913)

Bingham County, Idaho

To fund the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to modify existing facilities at the Springfield Hatchery, located in Bingham County, Idaho. This will increase the hatchery's capability of rearing to up to one million sockeye salmon smolts annually, and will contribute to a larger effort to restore endangered Snake River sockeye salmon to the Stanley Basin using information and techniques developed as part of the IDF&G's Snake River Sockeye Salmon Captive Broodstock Program.

The environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) are available below. If you would like to receive a copy, please call our toll-free document request line: 1-800-622-4519. Leave a request naming this project and giving your name and complete mailing address.
