Albany-Burnt Woods and Santiam-Toledo Pole Replacement Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
BPA is proposing to replace wood poles on portions of its Albany-Burnt Woods 115-kV
and Santiam-Toledo 230-kV transmission lines located near Corvallis and Albany,
Oregon. Proposed activities include upgrading segments of existing access roads,
removing existing wood pole structures and replacing them with new wood pole structures.
The proposed project would ensure continued safe and reliable transmission service
in the area.

CURRENT STATUS:
A Revision Sheet for the EA is available that, with the Preliminary EA, constitutes
the Final EA. On May 6, 2009, a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was issued.
It includes a Mitigation Action Plan. BPA has decided to proceed with the Proposed
Action.
Construction will start in May 2009 and will be completed in fall-winter 2009.
