The Work Category "BPA Internal Operations" covers BPA-provided services in support of a Fish and Wildlife program contract. BPA Internal Operations Work Elements will most often be used in Statements of Work for land acquisition projects, computer purchases outside of a contract, or any project requiring environmental compliance review by BPA staff. In preparation for a land acquisition, for example BPA may perform appraisals or appraisal review, hazardous material assessment, help in development of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), real estate negotiations, wiring of money to escrow, and GIS work. This category also includes any work done by BPA's Environmental Planning and Analysis group. Environmental review done by contractors or project sponsors is not included in this category; see the Environmental Compliance Work Elements
