FY2005 September Contract Accrual Estimates

On August 24, 2005, accrual estimate requests and forms were emailed to contractors holding fish and wildlife contracts in pending, active, or completed status or in closed status for less than one year. Contractors were requested to provide accrual estimates for work performed but not billed prior to September 26, 2005. Note the date: BPA must close its books a few days early this year to allow adequate time for processing. However, the end of the Federal fiscal year remains September 30, and thus you must include in your accrual estimate all contract charges incurred though September 30 that will not be billed to and received by BPA until after September 26.

If you plan to submit an invoice before the end of the fiscal year so that you do not have to include it in your accrual estimate, your invoice must be received by BPA no later than September 26, 2005.

If you are unable to invoice BPA by September 26 for all costs incurred through September 30, you should include any unbilled costs in your accrual estimate.
