Accruals



BPA is required by its auditors and by Federal law to accurately record Fish and Wildlife program expenses in the appropriate fiscal year. In order to meet this requirement, BPA asks its contractors to report those expenses they have incurred but will not bill to BPA before late September of each fiscal year.

NOTE: The Federal fiscal year is October 1 through September 30.

Beginning August 2008, contractors will report fiscal year accruals directly in Pisces, BPA’s software tool for managing projects in the Fish and Wildlife Program. Instructions for entering accrual information into Pisces can be found in the link below.
